Vacancy: SmartHealth+ Implementation Officer
Reports to: Smarthealth+ Implementation Lead
Job Purpose:
To carry out Smarthealth+ system implementation at different customer sites and ensure that the client is fully supported.
Job Summary:
Smart Applications International (Uganda) Ltd has strategically diversified to providing a robust Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) in line with our purpose of creating a healthy society through easy, fast, and secure access to healthcare services.
The SmartHealth+ Implementation Officer ensures a seamless transition from initiation to go-live of the HMIS within the agreed time frame, conducts a detailed gap analysis for specific sites, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with a focus on maintaining product readiness and compliance with market needs. Provides user training and firsthand system support to maximize system. The job holder maintains comprehensive project implementation reports, delivering monthly updates with demonstrated closure of all implementations as per the project plan.
Manage SmartHealth+ implementation project from start to go live, within the agreed project period.
Carry out project gap analysis for a specific site and ensure that the same is fully delivered per agreed timeline.
Ensure product readiness and compliance with market needs.
Carry out user training and 1st hand system support to ensure that the system is fully used.
Maintain custody of the requirements, versions, and releases in conjunction with the Technology Project Manager in charge of the SmartHealth+ product.
Coordinate on implementation, successful project completion, effective use and value documentation to establish each site as a reference site.
Maintain a documented report on all project implementation and provide monthly reports on this with demonstrated constructive closure of all implementations as per the project plan.
Ensure integration and other areas of Smart interests including but not limited to Smart EDI, Smart Clinical Master List, Smart Analytics are catered in all versions and deployments.
Contribute to the innovation funnel of the solution by ensuring that new requirements, customizations, improvements that have been requested or have been proactively assessed from the market are shared formally to the Implementation Lead and delivered.
Map out all the healthcare facility management solutions at all facilities, both on Smart and not on Smart, including facilities that have none in order to always have the current total addressable market.
Actively Contribute towards associated innovations such as the Smart Patient Engagement Mobile Application and harness into the organization other arising opportunities at healthcare facilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
At least 2 years’ experience in system implementation.
Project management skills is an added advantage.
Having worked previously in a hospital or IT company is an added advantage.
